Bristol Shoulder therapy is part of Bristol Physio and is run by Tony Gill, an extended scope practitioner in musculoskeletal medicine. We not only offer assessment and treatment for a wide variety of problems including ankle, knee, hip, back and neck, but Tony also works as a Shoulder Specialist Physiotherapist.
We offer a dedicated Shoulder assessment and treatment service run by a Shoulder Clinician who is a member of BESS (British Elbow & Shoulder Society) and is recognised by the area shoulder surgeons (www.bristolshoulderspecialists.co.uk) as a Shoulder rehabilitation Specialist.

Investigations?
Sometimes investigations are required and help with the diagnosis and treatment plan to maximise your recovery and to rule out more serious conditions. We have access to Ultra-Sound, MRI and X-ray Investigation locally where required and is an important part of a professional shoulder service.

Our primary focus is on shoulder rehabilitation and Tony has a large amount of experience in treating shoulders with Manual therapy, Exercise therapy, Acupuncture, shoulder taping as well as other treatment techniques. Tony is also a Qualified Injection therapist and prescriber. He is able to offer shoulder guided injections in-house and has excellent links to other modalities such as Shock-wave-therapy and to the local Shoulder Surgeons for when a surgical opinion may be required.
